Engineers Ireland STEPS programme
DBFL engineers spent some quality time with some of the ‘next generation engineers’ over the last few weeks, visiting primary schools as part of the Engineers Ireland STEPS programme.
This great initiative gives us a chance to get into the classroom and really show children what an engineer does and explain the many types of engineers out there. Impressive enthusiasm all round in all the schools visited and a great opportunity for our engineers to encourage the continuation with STEM subjects, even at this early age.
Thanks to Engineers Ireland for their continuing support. Next up is our 3-day Transition Year Programme in mid-April, when we welcome 20 students to our Dublin office for an action-packed programme of activities and challenges run by our team of engineers from across DBFL’s civil, structural and transportation disciplines.
