Car Free Week at DBFL

Very proud of the commitment across all DBFL offices this week to stay ‘Car Free’ to mark European Mobility Week.

The cars were left at home, and we saw empty car park spaces, evidence of a lot of cycling and public transport in our Car-Free Selfie Competition as well as a midweek Car-Free Breakfast to reward everyone for their efforts.

Whilst for the most part the number of drivers is quite low, it was heartening to see the shift to public transport from those whose journeys would traditionally be made by car. Another step along the way towards our mission of  Engineering Sustainable Futures
