Contract signing for Glenamuck District Roads Scheme
The contract signing for Glenamuck District Roads Scheme took place last week marking a milestone in this key infrastructure project, with DBFL’s Kevin Sturgeon and John Carr joining Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and contractor BAM UK & Ireland for the occasion.
The delivery of the scheme will significantly improve the multi-modal transport infrastructure in the Glenamuck/Carrickmines/ Kiltiernan area. This roads scheme supports the development within the Local Area Plan lands of between 2,600-3,000 residential units by providing much needed pedestrian and cycle infrastructure, upgraded road infrastructure and will fulfil a traffic management and placemaking function by diverting traffic from the village core of Kiltiernan.
DBFL are delighted to have worked on the project with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, progressing it from preliminary design to planning, detailed design and tender. We look forward to construction and handover project stages in conjunction with BAM Civil Ltd and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
