DBFL Supports Francis Street School

DBFL recently provided funding to Francis Street School in the Liberties to support new resources for the students in one of their dedicated autism classes. We were delighted to see the joyful faces when we recently witnessed firsthand the positive impact of the resources.

The school’s autism class has greatly benefited from these resources, which have significantly enhanced the students’ experiences. A wall mural has created a calming and tranquil atmosphere and items such as a play mat, bean bag and weighted blanket, provide essential relaxation time for the students.

Additional funded resources include a fold-out trampoline, sensory pads, various games, paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and domed acrylic mirror panels. Both the children and staff deeply appreciated the support, and we look forward to partnering with more schools in the future.
