Ballymakenny College is a 3-storey, 1,000-pupil Post Primary School, built on a live campus site shared with Ballymakenny Primary School, Drogheda. The new post-primary school run by Louth Meath ETB, accommodates and features a full size gymnasium, general and specialist rooms, fitness suite and a Special Needs Unit.
The works included a set down for 13 cars and one bus, 123 combined parking spaces with the primary school and 6 new hard play areas and a sports pitch.
Off-site works included the extension of the existing outbound cycle lane on the western side of Ballymakenny Road and a new toucan crossing on the Ballymakenny Road.
