DBFL were commissioned by Kildare County Council provide structural and civil engineering services for the The Devoy Link Road in Naas, Co Kildare.
The Devoy Link Road in Naas, Co Kildare includes a 6.5m wide road carriageway with parallel segregated bicycle (2.0m wide) and pedestrian (2.0m wide) facilities. There are three junctions along its length – one traffic signal-controlled junction, one roundabout and one ‘simple’ priority-controlled junction in addition to a private vehicle entrance, as well as associated tie-in works to the existing road infrastructure.
DBFL provided full engineering services on this project from inception, through planning, detailed design, construction and handover.
This new urban road corridor of approximately 570m in length connects the existing John Devoy Road with the Naas Southern Ring Road via an existing three arm roundabout located to the southwest of the subject greenfield site.
